APAWMR has fulfilled its pioneering role, all these years, on a shoe-string budget, funded by voluntary contributions from philanthropic individuals, social service organizations and aid agencies like the UNICEF, Action Aid and till recently by one of the Tata Trusts. The assistance from the above Trust ended in March 2005. APAWMR’s slender financial resources have been carefully and prudently husbanded by its Office-bearers and used only for worthwhile programs.

In conducting the activities of the Association, its Office-bearers have conformed to highly transparent and ethical values and norms. All our services are free as we serve the poorest families of the twin cities.
